Odysse Electric Evoqis & Racer Test drive

20 Nov 2020, I got the opportunity to visit Odysse Electric Pvt ltd. Basically Odysse Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd is start-up firm engaged in manufacturing Electric scooters and Electric bikes. It is a step forward after Electric Vehicles that manufactures E-Rickshaw and E-carts for carrying passengers and goods with a brand name “SAWARE”.

Odysse Electric vehicle Pvt. Ltd, is a part of Vora group of companies which has varied line of business mainly being into automobile-based products along with Construction, measuring instruments and home automation.

The manufacturing facility of Odysse is located at at

The Corporate office is located at

Currently they Have 4 EV Vehicles to offer - Racer, Evoqis, Hawk , Hawk + . I got the opportunity to test drive Racer and Evoqis. Hopefully in the next blog I will give you low down on the the Hawk scooter, This is too variant scooter which comes with Bluetooth speaker, Cruise control.

Now Coming back to my test drive. 20/11/2020, I finally got connected with the owner of Odysse and he told me that they got small window and if I could make it before 2 pm so as I could test drive the vehicles. So with the deep excitement i put on my gear and i speeded off to mulund in the vision to test drive this vehicle. The showroom is located in Mulund with their corporate office in Ghatkopar.

As I discussed with the owner my desire to test drive these vehicles and feature them on my YouTube channel. So as they prepared the vehicles for my test drive along with sales associate.

First up was the Evoqis, I was quite impressed by the vehicle design. It definitely is very attractive bike. It reminds me of the RS 200 in many angles. coming to its technical specification

Evoqis comes with 3KW motor and gives a top speed of 80 Km/hr and the motor is powered 4.3 KW lithium battery pack, the voltage is 72 volts with torque 64Nm. the max speed of the evoqis is 80km/hr

Evoqis comes with Drive, Sport, Reverse with the Park option. As you see in the image below. the gear shifter on the hand which initially took little getting used but once you get hang of it. It is quite nifty. One thing which i did not quite understand is why do you need reverse in motorcycle. I was unable to use the functionality but may be when i get to test drive for long trip I will be able to give you more inputs on this. Gauge cluster is quite funky and retro which gives you analog and digital speedometer with low battery indicator. Also have Hazzard signal

A unique cork which I found is that there is 2 horn option on this motorcycle which something interesting. One on the left side and right side

Semi Digital cluster had two parts the analog part on your left shows the speed in your analog style along with the battery charge and on your right it shows the same speed in the digital format and below the odometer. Turn indicators and on the corner, you will be see the push start option.

The model which i drove was Lime green and it comes in other variants also. But if you see the fairing you will see a lot of decal which gives you the impression that this Bike has the resemblance of the BMW. Many even have commented that why do they need to rip of the BMW logo. Well to which I have no comment.
